Hey guys! This may shock some of you, but I have never even picked up a Harry Potter book. For the longest time, my mom was really anti-Harry Potter because of the sorcery. Recently, she decided to let me read the series. I actually have the first book sitting in front of me while I type this. :)
I can't wait to start reading!!! I hope I like it as much as everyone says I will. I do have one big question. Out of all the books are there any that I will need tissues while reading?? Don't tell mew why, just tell me which ones. Sorry the post was so short, but it's the best I can do right now I don't really have anything to write about.

Young Adult Novel Frustration
So being a Christian and loving YA books is really difficult. My cousin lent me her copy of An Abundance of Kathrines. I flipped through and found some pretty colorful if you know what I mean. I decided not to read it because of the colorful language.
So here ids why I am frustrated: Most YA novels aren't the cleanest. Being Christian and reading YA is hard and I feel like it shouldn't be. Is it really that hard to find a clean word to describe something?
Maybe this is just me. Maybe no one else cares about this type of stuff. Let me know if you agree,
Now, I'm gonna make a request. Has anyone read any CLEAN YA books that you liked? If so please comment the title or author. I need some recommendations. Help a fellow reader out please.
Thanks in advance!

Change
It feels really awesome to be back on this blog! As I grew a bit as a blogger/admin I realized I had other interests that I wanted to share with people. Now, that isn't exactly the type of thing you can do on this blog. This is a review blog. That being said, if you want to hear from me on a more random level, please check out my other blogs. They should be on here somewhere, but I'll check and make a post about them if they aren't.
If you have taken a peek at this blog since 10:40-ish on August 29,2014 and have been following/ regularly checking this blog for a while, you may have noticed that I've deleted a large amount of my posts. I went through what I had written and made a few decisions. 1) I decided that I wanted this blog to be strictly about book reviews and book related things. Putting movies, websites, shows, etc. was not what I really wanted to do. So, I changed it.
You may also have noticed that this blog changed a lot. I changed the title. It went from graceopolys (I have no clue what 9-year-old me was thinking when she made that the title of her blog and couldn't even spell it. But, that's exactly what she did. So...) to Loving Literacy. I also changed the look. I needed change to make this as successful as I wanted it to be. It needed to look better, to flow better. I needed it to be almost totally different.
I did leave a few old posts, but they aren't the best written ones. Therefore, I am going to post alternative reviews on them and make the reviews a bit better. My reviews are too short. I think I was afraid of saying too much of what I thought and people disliking it. I now know that you can't let that be a worry. Voice your opinion, because odds are, there is at least one other person who thinks the same thing you think. I needed to not say that everything was perfect with s particular book. Every book has parts that could be made better. Even your favorite author who has been writing for years could use improvement in at least one area, because we can always get better and that is what thins blog is doing.
